Habibi Restaurant and Bar

Over the years the premises has been home to numerous restaurants, sharing similar layouts
and architectural features. The limited design changes to the building created an unwanted
connection to the old, even when new.

Our ambition was to create a vibrant bar and restaurant giving local customers a sense of
entering into an entirely new premises.

Habibi. From Brooklyn to Beirut, a constant play of influences shape the venue’s offer, where urban
graffiti mixes with traditional calligraphy, handmade tiles with rough-hewn concrete - all set against a soundtrack of global Hip Hop artists. Habibi’s food and drink offering saw see a cultural
reimagining of middle eastern inspired recipes with an urban utilitarian twist.
